i wanted to share a painting of diesel, that was done
by ruth vineberg, my grandma, who i recently lost on valentine's day. she was one of my first art mentors (besides my
mother, beth fedigan who is also an artist). it's really made me reflect on life. since my relationship with her always
involved art, i have been reminiscing on my art path. i wanted to say thank you to everyone that has made an impact on my
art career. to all my family and friends, thanks for always having faith in me and patience with me. thanks for all the words
of support and encouragement, and constructive criticism!to all my past customers a HUGE THANKS for helping me work towards my
dreams!!!! :)

b-days & bummers
happy news first...
diesel
& i celebrated our birthday last monday. i made him a peanut butter carrot bone shaped cake (don't
worry i made sure the pb wasn't involved with the pb scare). he loved it!
bummer news last... (for me at least)

hello! i think i jinxed myself in the last blog, because my internet is still down!
I
have been painting like crazy, lots of deadlines! this year is flying by and christmas is around the corner!!!!
I will be adding a few christmas cards soon, so check back. christmas commitions need to be placed soon. i can't
guarantee they will be finished on time, the closer it gets to christmas.

UPDATES
After feeling under the weather for the past two weeks as well as my internet not working, im finally able to update my
website.
I have stayed busy working on a few pet portrait comissions, a donation painting, two
paintings for a contest, and a few day of the dead pieces. The donation piece which has not been named yet, is for the
Right on Red Auction (a fundraiser for the Children's Museum of Brownsville- October 15, 2008 www.cmofbrownsville.com ).
I will also have a display of my dog paintings at the same venue on Saturday October 18, 2008.
BEACHCOMBER ART SHOW is rescheduled for Saturday and Sunday - November 15 & 16, 08.

New Addition
I have a new addition to the family! I adopted/rescued a 5 month old minature
Dachshund puppy, Lucy (formerly know as Juicy Couture). After a long week, Diesel finally accepts his "little sister".
They now play for hours until she wears him out! She will appear in her own portraits very soon!

that was involved in Hurricane Dolly, Gustav, & Ike you are in my continued prayers! Hope everything returns to normal
as soon as possible!
